Popular singer Laufey‘s appearance at the 2026 Golden Globes Awards red carpet has sparked heated discourse over a potential racist microaggression involving a KATSEYE member.

During Laufey’s appearance on the red carpet, the photographers started yelling to get her attention. However, they started calling her “Megan.” The singer, visibly confused, replied, “My name isn’t Megan!”
