A well-known Korean legal YouTuber with over 500,000 subscribers is drawing attention for his blunt remarks about NewJeans (NJZ) member Danielle and her ongoing dispute with ADOR.
On the YouTube channel Korea Lawyer, attorney Lee Ji Hoon uploaded a video analyzing Danielle’s case following ADOR’s decision to terminate her exclusive contract. In the video, he used extreme language, saying the parties should now “kill each other,” meaning they should enter an all-out legal confrontation.
The lawyer criticized Danielle’s recent public behavior, stating that this is not the time for volunteer work or positive public appearances.
Volunteer work is good, but now is not the time. This shouldn’t be happening. The NewJeans members unilaterally terminated their contracts, causing losses to the company. The company’s shareholders suffered damages. Intentionally causing harm to others and then doing volunteer work makes no sense. You need the ability to understand the situation.

NJZ (NewJeans) Danielle’s Whereabouts Amid Contract Termination Sparks Divided Reactions
He argued that the NewJeans members’ unilateral contract termination caused financial damage to the company and its shareholders, and said Danielle should be showing restraint and remorse instead of appearing carefree.
At the very least, you need to restrain yourself and understand that this is a serious situation ‘I shouldn’t be doing this right now.’ There are people being harmed by your actions. You should feel remorse. You need to show self-discipline and restraint. You can’t go around saying, ‘I’m happy.’ That only escalates the situation.

He then outlined what he believes is Danielle’s only viable legal strategy. According to Lee, Danielle must admit fault, cut ties with Min Hee Jin immediately, and claim that she was “gaslit” by her.
“Danielle needs to acknowledge her wrongdoing. Admit it and say, ‘The reason I ended up this way is because I was gaslit by Min Hee Jin,’ and then break away. This becomes a case of joint illegal conduct, meaning compensation liability to ADOR, but within that internal relationship, greater responsibility should be placed on Min Hee Jin.
She needs to go to all-out war with Min Hee Jin. Even now, she should cut ties cleanly, like with a knife, and not be on Min Hee Jin’s side. If she does that, there’s no recovery. She must actively claim and prove that she was gaslit. She can’t make any more mistakes, then it’s over. Even now, she should cooperate with the company. Danielle needs to take a different line from Min Hee Jin. If this is to end through mediation with the company, she has to go after Min Hee Jin.”
