Kim Sung Chul (Hellbound 2) is considering a lead role in the upcoming Korean drama Sleeping Doctor. Sleeping Doctor is a romantic comedy about a promising psychiatrist with trauma stemming from sexual assault who opens a private clinic but then begins suffering from narcolepsy which causes her to struggle keep it open. She then meets a freelance doctor with an amazing memory who helps her on her journey to healing.
Kim Sung Chul would play the freelance doctor. Jin Ki Joo (Undercover High School) is still considering the other lead role of the psychiatrist.
Sleeping Doctor plans to air sometime later in 2026.
