A Korean actor couple became parents after previously overcoming a miscarriage, earning many congratulations from friends and netizens.
According to agency Sim Story on August 10th, Moon Ji In gave birth to a healthy baby boy on the morning of the 7th. Both the baby and Moon Ji In are in good health.
Moon Ji In and Kim Ki Lee, who married in May 2024, became pregnant soon after becoming a couple but suffered the pain of a miscarriage. Afterward, they tried to have a child through in vitro fertilization and ultimately conceived naturally.
When announcing the pregnancy, Kim Ki Lee told OSEN, “I still can’t quite believe it. When it doesn’t feel real, I pray and ask to prepare myself to become a dad.”
Kim Ki Lee debuted in 2006 on SBS‘s Gag 1, and Moon Ji In entered the entertainment industry in 2009 as part of SBS’s 11th public talent recruitment.
