    She was threatened verbally too.

    Just now

A disturbing account from a fan who attended TXT‘s event for Dunkin Donuts in Manila. event is gaining attention online after she described being allegedly assaulted by security staff.

TXT held a fan event in Manila on March 8 at the Mall of Asia Arena, part of a brand-sponsored fan meeting that marked the group’s return to the Philippines. According to the fan’s statement circulating online, the situation began when security confiscated her camera after she took photos during the event.

그러나 보안원들은 제가 혼자인 외국인… pic.twitter.com/DoDUIYLpCm

The fan said she had already deleted the photos and that the camera had been taken away. However, she asked security staff to return her memory card, which contained many personal photos unrelated to the event. She claims security guards refused and deliberately targeted her and mocked her when she asked for the card back.

“While attending the Manila fan meeting just now, I was subjected to extremely violent treatment and insulting remarks from the security staff.

I had already deleted the photos I took, and my camera had been taken away by them. Even so, I demanded that they return my memory card. However, the security guards intentionally targeted me after seeing that I was a foreign woman alone. They spoke to me rudely in a dismissive tone and refused to return the memory card. They even threatened to throw it away while keeping it in their pockets. When I said I would report them to the police, they mocked me like gang members and said, “Go ahead and report it. We’re not scared at all. This is the Philippines and we have our own rules here. You should go back to your country right now.” The memory card contained many photos I had taken previously, so I tried to retrieve it from their pockets. At that moment, two security guards, one male and one female, blocked me and used force against me.”

    Injury sustained by fan.

When the fan said she would report the incident to police, she claims the guards responded with threats. She tried to retrieve her memory card herself, which she claims led to a physical altercation with two security guards during which she was allegedly sexually harassed and assaulted.

“During the struggle, they repeatedly touched sensitive parts of my body and my skirt was lifted up. I felt this was a serious humiliation and sexual violation. I told them several times that I have a waist injury and asked them not to touch it, but they ignored me and continued to apply force to my waist. I am now experiencing pain that is very difficult to endure.

My friend filmed the moment I was being assaulted, but the security guards who had used violence immediately acted aggressively toward my friends as well. They knocked my friend’s phone to the ground and forcibly checked the photo gallery, demanding that the video be deleted. They also prevented my friends from re-entering the venue to watch the performance.

Because of this incident, I felt extremely frightened and anxious. Is it acceptable to be treated this way simply because I am a foreign woman alone? I was only taking photos to keep good memories, so why was I treated like a criminal with no human rights?”

The incident has begun circulating across social media and fan communities, with many expressing concern about fan safety at large events.

As of now, neither the event organizers nor TXT’s agency have released an official statement regarding the allegations.
