A Korean star shared a heartbreaking story while he was at JYP Entertainment. Despite the passage of many years, he recounted the still vivid painful memory calmly, capturing the public’s attention.
On the June 4 broadcast of KBS‘s Park Myung Soo’s Radio Show, model Lee Hyun and Koyote‘s Bbaek Ga appeared together for a lively conversation. During the show, Bbaek Ga recalled his days sweating it out as part of the JYP Entertainment choreography team.
He explained, “When I was in charge of choreography at JYP, the parking lot was located on the first floor of the building. I had the task of moving the cars, so I had to go around inside the building to collect the keys from car owners.”
The incident happened on the fifth floor of the building. Bbaek Ga approached a person who was resting, politely knocked, and asked for the keys to move the vehicle. However, the response he received was not only cold but insulting.
He said, “Even though they clearly knew what my purpose was, they asked me why I needed the key, then threw the car key on the floor and ordered me to ‘go move the car’ in a commanding tone.”
When Bbaek Ga protested against the unfair treatment, the verbal abuse only worsened. He recounted, “When I argued, saying ‘Isn’t this going too far?’ they reluctantly picked up the keys and forced them into my hand, cursing, ‘You should spend your whole life dancing in the basement.’ The psychological shock was so great that I ended up breaking down in tears while telling my choreography team colleagues about it,” revealing his emotional pain.
However, time passed and the tables turned. After Bbaek Ga made his official debut and succeeded in the music industry, the two unexpectedly met again at a broadcasting production site. The person who had insulted him in the past approached him casually, seemingly conscious of Bbaek Ga’s success.
Bbaek Ga said, “After a long time, we met again in the broadcasting world, and he warmly greeted me, asking ‘Bbaek Ga, how have you been?’ The person who had looked down on me back then had become a producer and asked me to shoot album jacket photos for the singers he was managing.”
Bbaek Ga confessed to feeling complex emotions at the time but chose to respond with magnanimity, turning it into a form of revenge. He shared, “Honestly, I felt a twinge of sadness inside, but I accepted the offer and helped him. I thought that rather than coldly rejecting his request, gladly helping him was the true way to win,” leaving a deep impression on listeners.
