A Korean star has personally shared the news of his divorce, albeit belatedly.
On October 9th, a message was posted on social media, saying, “About two years ago, we decided to end our relationship as a married couple and go our separate ways,” by comedian Kim In Suk.
He added, “Although our marriage has ended here, we will continue to do our best as parents for our children and remain good co-parents.”
He also explained why the divorce news was announced late, saying, “I struggled with how to convey this story all this time. I needed time to accept this reality and come to terms with it, so I am only now sharing it.”
He continued, “There were tough times, but I overcame them and now aim for a new beginning. I will work hard to show a better and happier side going forward.”
Finally, Kim In Suk expressed, “I apologize to family, relatives, and close acquaintances who are hearing this news for the first time through this message.”
Kim In Suk married Angela Park, six years his junior and a former Miss Korea contestant, in 2014. They have two sons, but the couple has divorced and are now walking separate paths.
