A Korean star couple is becoming parents after three years of marriage.
On August 16th, the pregnancy was announced personally through a collaborative Instagram post by Lee Sang Ho and Kim Ja Yeon. They said, “After three years of marriage, the baby has come to us.”
The video posted together showed the couple holding an ultrasound picture while wearing hats stitched with “MOM” and “DAD,” smiling brightly. They expressed their affection by hugging and kissing each other with bright smiles.
They shared, “After the cautious first 12 weeks, we are sharing the news! From two to three, we are preparing to welcome this new beginning.”
Kim Ja Yeon, born in 1991, debuted as a singer by joining the girl group 1NB in 2017 after appearing on Mnet‘s survival show Produce 101 Season 1 in 2016, and later worked as a fitness creator after the group disbanded.
Lee Sang Ho, born in 1981, debuted as a comedian through KBS’s 21st public recruitment in 2006 and gained fame performing twin comedy acts with his twin younger brother Lee Sang Min.
The couple married in September 2023 and are receiving many congratulations on the news of their child after three years.
