A Korean TV personality opened up about his true feelings on the topic of dating.
Recently, a video titled “Romance and Madness Are a Thin Line Apart” was uploaded on YouTube. In the video, Kim Dae Ho caught attention as he enjoyed camping in the rain.
That day, Kim Dae Ho revealed that it had been a long time since he last dated. Even when natural opportunities to meet people arise, aiming for a “natural meeting”, he confessed, “My whole body stiffens, I get nervous.”
He said, “I don’t even know if this person likes me or not. But the moment I start a conversation, I feel like I’m showing interest.” He expressed, “It’s scary to establish a relationship.”
Kim Dae Ho later said that, counting the months, he feels lonely only about one or two months a year. He explained, “There are really only about two months when I strongly want to date or meet someone, and the rest of the time, even if I had a girlfriend, it wouldn’t be moments when I love her like crazy.”
Though he wants to spend everyday life with someone like a friend, he finds it too difficult to start a relationship because he doesn’t know who that person would be. Kim Dae Ho confessed, “If you keep putting it off, it’s like an award ceremony for dating candidates. When you open your eyes, more than 10 years have passed,” evoking a bittersweet laugh.
