Lee Jong Seok in Talks for Investigative Thriller K-drama Paradise Reuniting with PD From Big Mouth and While You Were Sleeping

K-actor Lee Jong Seok is one of the more versatile stars of his generation of male leads in terms of genre hopping. Up next he has the live action K-drama adaptation of Remarried Empress where he plays a prince who can also transform into a bird, lol don’t ask, and not sure if the drama will keep that fantasy element. But in recent years he’s gotten more acclaim for his darker dramas like Big Mouth and now he’s looking to reunite with that PD who also directed him in While You Were Sleeping for the K-drama Paradise. It’s from the screenwriter of the very harrowing Beyond Evil so this will definitely be a prestige production. If he accepts he will play a reporter caught up in unearthing a big conspiracy while working alongside a police officer.
