Former Jewelry member Ha Joo Yeon shared an unexpectedly relatable life update, including revealing she once applied for the hit dating show I Am Solo.
On a recent YouTube appearance, Ha Joo Yeon revealed that she is currently working as a showroom manager for a French tableware and kitchenware brand near Seoul Forest. While casually eating gukbap for lunch, she admitted she usually eats alone while watching I Am Solo by herself.
She then shocked viewers by confessing that she actually applied for the show too. According to Ha Joo Yeon, she even submitted an application through email, but was ultimately rejected.
“But they didn’t pick me. They said no.”
She hilariously added that she even practiced introducing herself like contestants on the show.
“I practiced saying ‘I’m Youngsook,’ but it was embarrassing.”
