Recently, G-Dragon’s agency, Galaxy Corporation, released an official statement regarding taking strong legal action against malicious posts, including defamation, the dissemination of false information, malicious slander, and violations of personal rights.

“Hello, this is Galaxy Corporation. We are continuing to take strong legal action in cooperation with Yulchon Law Firm against malicious posts regarding our artist, G-Dragon.

Following the previous notice regarding rights infringement (October 17), we have filed a large-scale complaint against over 100 malicious posts for “violation of the Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization Act and Information Protection,” based on evidence collected through fan reports and our own monitoring.

The authorities have identified numerous suspects through searches and seizures on major online community sites and social media platforms. These suspects have been transferred to the police stations with jurisdiction over the respective addresses for ongoing investigation.

Currently, some suspects have admitted to the charges, and the investigation has been completed. The case has been forwarded to prosecution, pending the outcome of the investigation. The police are also investigating suspects who deny the charges.

Please understand that the case is currently being referred to prosecution and that information about the suspect cannot be disclosed under the Personal Information Protection Act. We are working closely with the authorities to ensure a swift resolution to this matter. We will gradually expand our civil and criminal actions to protect the rights of our artists.

We will provide continuous updates if there are any significant developments. However, please understand that the investigative process may take some time.

If fans encounter malicious posts, please submit a single PDF file containing all the details to the reporting email address below. This will serve as evidence in any legal proceedings.”
