Hello, this is ATRP.
We would like to inform you that the exclusive contract between our company and our artist Chuu will come to an end as of July 10, 2026.
We had in-depth discussions regarding Chuu’s future activities, and with the intention of supporting each other’s future endeavors, we mutually agreed to conclude the exclusive contract.
We would like to express our gratitude to all the fans who have given Chuu unwavering love and support.
We ask for your continued interest and encouragement going forward.
Thank you.

Chuu first signed an exclusive contract with ATRP in April 2023. When she released her first full album, XO, My Cyberlove, earlier this year, several fans found themselves frustrated with a seeming lack of promotion from the agency. As a result, many were quick to react positively to ATRP’s announcement.
REASONS TO BE OPTIMISTIC THAT CHUU IS LEAVING ATRP
1. atrp was a shit company
2. the contract prevented collabs with other loona girls
3. she could be joining triangle enm or starting her own company
4. even if she doesn’t start her own company she can negotiate for better terms

On the flip side, however, others were worried about what the sudden contract termination would mean for Chuu’s future as a soloist. Hours after ATRP’s statement, however, Chuu sent a message to fans reassuring them that her time with the agency was positive and that she intends to “keep moving forward” from here.

It’s not bad news, but I was thinking about how to talk about it, so it ended up taking me a while hehe.
It seems that [Y/N] is worried after seeing the article, but first of all, I’m very grateful for the music I was able to make at ATRP over the past three years, and grateful for all the activities. It was a time I’m truly thankful for, because they took care of my activities in a fun and safe environment and helped me try all kinds of things, and I learned so much. 🙂
And I want to keep moving forward without stopping.
I hope you’ll continue to look forward to and watch over the music and activities I try in various ways going forward!
Thank you for giving so much support to both ATRP and me, and I hope you’ll continue to support us in the future.

Now, fans are eagerly speculating about her potential next steps, including what a new contract may mean for Chuu as a LOONA member. Since the group’s mass exit from BlockBerry Creative following contract disputes, the 12 members have been scattered across different agencies and pathways.
Like Chuu, Yves made her debut as a soloist, joining Paix Per Mil. Heejin, Haseul, Kim Lip, Jinsoul, and Choerry regrouped under Modhaus as ARTMS under their former BlockBerry Creative producer, Jaden Jeong. Hyunjin, Yeojin, ViVi, Go Won, and Hyeju (formerly Olivia Hye) went on to debut as Loossemble under CTDENM but departed from the agency and went their separate ways in November 2024.

Many fans had long speculated that Chuu’s ATRP contract may have prevented her from collaborating with her former groupmates, leaving them hoping a reunion of some kind could finally be on the table.
Several are calling for Chuu to join Yves at Paix Per Mil, while one fan spotted that Chuu and Go Won were recently photographed by the same photographer, fuelling theories of a connection to Go Won’s new agency PLFIL.

Regardless of her next steps and despite the uncertainty, fans are cheering Chuu on in her decision. Given her tumultuous yet bold decision to leave BlockBerry Creative in 2022, many say they trust the star’s judgment about her career.
