A singer has begun his career anew after financial struggles.

After years of gaining musical experience, Taiwanese singer Chen Fanqi signed with a label to release his first mini-album, When It Is Time To Leave. After this, he seemed to disappear from the music industry, something he recently attributed to difficulty finding work during the COVID19 pandemic.
With his mother unable to work due to her serious illness and paralysis, Chen turned to the adult industry in order to make a living. In 2021, after online discussions about his work as an AV actor circulated, he came forward and openly confirmed that he had begun the work in 2020.
In his time as an adult actor, he was very popular and says that he appeared in over 300 videos.
This work did not lead to wealth; however, as Chen stated, after deducting his mother’s medical expenses, he had little left. The singer left the industry in 2022, turning to part-time work, and in 2024, he released a self-titled full album.
Earlier this month, he released an album, Homecoming, under a new name, Fu Dongsheng, after continuing to work and save over 30,000 USD.
It seems like Chen will never give up on chasing his dreams!
