    Ryu Kyung-soo, Kim Yoon-seok

    1. tvN’s May the Congressman Protect You (roughly translated) has reportedly added Ryu Kyung-soo (Our Unwritten Seoul) to the cast, joining ghost politician Kim Yoon-seok (The Frog) and ghost-seer civil servant Kim Sun-ho (Can This Love Be Translated) in the supernatural timeslip. Adapted from a popular webnovel that also has a webtoon version, the series has PD Park Shin-woo (Our Unwritten Seoul) at the helm with scripts penned by Kwon Jong-kwan (The Price of Confession). [MBC]
    1. Joo Hyun-young (Ms. Incognito) is reviewing an offer to become Park Min-young‘s (Siren’s Kiss) best friend in SBS’s new office rom-com Nine to Six, a remake of the Chinese drama The Rational Life. Possibly acting alongside Yook Sung-jae (The Haunted Palace) and Go Soo (Parole Examiner Lee) as well, the office rom-com is expected to broadcast later this year. PD Lee Hyung-min (Miss Night and Day) is directing with writing by Choi Ji-oh. [My Daily, Newsen]

    1. Eerie new posters have dropped on ENA, precariously partnering detective Park Hae-soo (The Price of Confession) with long-time frenemy and prosecutor Lee Hee-joon (Nine Puzzles) to solve our story’s The Scarecrow serial killer case. Also starring their grade school classmate and reporter Kwak Sun-young (Mary Kills People), the crime-mystery is slated to premiere next month on April 20 in the Monday-Tuesday slot. [Sports Donga]
    2. On KBS, promos continue with the latest video teaser for Cabbage Your Life, gathering the villagers of Yeonli-ri to unwelcome the city folks who just moved to town. With Park Sung-woong (Nine Puzzles) and Lee Soo-kyung (Dog Knows Everything) – in addition to their three sons – as our rookie farmer family, the comedy will be launching on March 26 next week. Production is being led by PD Choi Yeon-soo (Pump Up the Healthy Love, Memorials) and writers, Song Jung-rim (My Merry Marriage) and Wang Hye-ji (Nothing Serious). [Newsen]
    3. SBS’s Sold Out on You takes us to the country fields as well in the newest set of stills, where Ahn Hyo-seop (A Time Called You) is our seasoned farmer who moonlights as a researcher in cosmetics/skincare development. But he’ll also be sprouting ~love~ of course with Chae Won-bin (Who Is She), when the opposites-attract romance begins on April 22 in the Wednesday-Thursday slot. [SBS]
