Ahn Hyo-seop, Hong Hwa-yeon, Jang Ryul, Jung Yoo-jin
- JTBC has announced a new culinary-themed series to broadcast later this year, gathering international chef Ahn Hyo-seop (A Time Called You) and his restaurant manager Hong Hwa-yeon (The Price of Confession), as well as rival chef Jang Ryul (Love Me), and TV show PD Jung Yoo-jin (DNA Lover) on the (fictional) competition show Final Table. Slated to broadcast towards the end of 2026, production has PD Kim Do-hoon (Chimera, The Moon That Embraces the Sun) attached to direct. [JTBC]
- Park Eun-bin (Hyper Knife) is reviewing an offer for a new historical fiction and romance called Wildflowers Live in the Palace (roughly translated). Based on a popular webnovel by the same title, the drama remake is currently in the early stages. In the meantime, we can expect to see Park soon in Netflix’s The Wonder Fools as well as tvN’s Chilling Romance sometime later this year. [Newsen, Osen]
Junho, Park Eun-bin
- Junho (Cashero) is said to be in talks for the crime-thriller Buy King, potentially taking a dark turn down chaebol lane as nephew to Joo Ji-hoon (Climax) – should both actors accept. The upcoming black comedy is aiming to start filming in April and is in discussions to release on an online streaming platform (likely Netflix). Filmmaker Jo Sung-hee (Space Sweepers, A Werewolf Boy) is at the helm with Lee Shin-ho writing. [Osen]
- KBS is working on a new Joseon-era sageuk called Nameless Lantern (roughly translated), reportedly courting Chae Jong-hyeop (In Your Radiant Season) to become our story’s prince, while Won Ji-ahn (Surely Tomorrow) is up to play two twin sisters. The webtoon-adaptation is busy at the casting phase, with PD Kang Soo-yeon (The First Night With the Duke, My Perfect Stranger) and writer Han Hee-jung (The King’s Affection) leading the team. - Back on JTBC, we can certainly relate to the troubles of Go Yoon-jung (Can This Love Be Translated) in the latest stills, struggling to work under boss Choi Won-young (The Practical Guide to Love). She and We Are All Trying Here at life, alongside Gu Kyo-hwan (Parasyte – The Grey), Oh Jung-se (Tempest), Kang Mal-geum (Surely Tomorrow), and Park Hae-joon (Tempest). Coming to our screens on April 18 next month, production is being led by PD Cha Young-hoon (Welcome to Samdal-ri, When the Camellia Blooms) and writer Park Hae-young (My Liberation Notes, My Ajusshi).
