Kim Hyun-joo, Lee Moo-saeng, Jinyoung, Kim Yoo-jung, Jin Seon-gyu
- tvN has announced production for 100 Days of Lies, lining up Joseon pickpocket Kim Yoo-jung (Dear X) and an interpreter Jinyoung (Still Shining) to headline the period drama next to Kim Hyun-joo (Hellbound 2), Lee Moo-saeng (As You Stood By), and Jin Seon-gyu (The Price of Confession). The spy-romance is set during the Japanese occupation and will be broadcasting towards the end of 2026, with PD Yoo In-shik (Extraordinary Attorney Woo, Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim) and writer Ryu Bo-ri (Trolley) leading the team. - The ever-busy tvN has officially launched promos on Filing for Love (previously, Secret Audit), where Shin Hye-sun (The Art of Sarah) and Gong Myung (Mercy for None) have clocked-in at their cubicles in the office rom-com’s first stills. Also starring Kim Jae-wook (To My Beloved Thief) and Hong Hwa-yeon (The Price of Confession), the series is slated to premiere on April 25, following Mad Concrete Dreams in the weekend slot. [MBC]
- Casting continues for the upcoming Love Affair, courting Jung Yumi (Love Your Enemy) to play wife to Lee Dong-wook (The Nice Guy). But their happy marriage reportedly goes south when Jeon So-ni (As You Stood By) enters the scene. With the actors currently in talks, PD Mo Wan-il (The Frog, A Couple’s World) is at the helm alongside scripts by Ha Soo-jin (The Matchmakers). - A new medical series called Mind Doctor (transliterated title) is also in the works and is said to have Kang Haneul (Squid Game 3) reviewing an offer to play the titular starring role. If Kang accepts, this will be his first time putting on that white coat and will hopefully bring out his own charm to the archetypal ~genius~ doctor. - On TV Chosun, we can expect a more makjang medical tale in Doctor Shin, warping memories and what’s truth in the latest group poster. Premiering this week on March 14, the suspense-thriller’s ensemble cast includes Jung Yi-chan (Love Song for Illusion), Baek Seo-ra, Ahn Woo-yeon (I Dol I), and Joo Se-bin (The Empire), as well as Chun Young-min (Night Has Come), Song Ji-in (Concrete Market), Jeon No-min (First Lady), and Ji Young-san (Durian’s Affair).
