On the 10th, Artone Company CEO Kim Eun Ha issued an official statement apologizing sincerely for the concern caused by the recently raised unpaid appearance fees issue for the musical Dream High 2.
She said, “We deeply regret the great disappointment caused especially to the actors and staff who trusted us and helped create the show, as well as to the many fans who support us.”
After acknowledging the unpaid fees, CEO Kim said, “Unexpected financial difficulties arose during the production process, causing a regrettable delay in payment.” She added, “We have reached an amicable agreement with GOT7’s Youngjae to complete the settlement of the remaining unpaid fees by June.”
She promised, “We prioritize our commitments to the actors and will complete the payment process within the promised timeframe.” She expressed apologies and deep gratitude to all the actors and staff who worked hard and added, “We will take this incident as a painful lesson and do our utmost to prevent such problems from recurring in future productions.”
