Recently, an OP shared the fancall they had with Renjun, and when asked what hopes he had for the year, the idol sparked shock and sadness as he replied “nothing,” and didn’t seem to have anything else to elaborate on with his own personal dreams and desires.

The comments from fans were heartbreaking.
Many hit back at SM Entertainment for its mistreatment of Renjun, especially regarding solo schedules and activities. In particular, they thought the spark had gone from Renjun’s eyes, and he no longer had that same excitement and seemingly a lack of passion for being an idol, considering everything that had happened.
