Most recently, opinions are sharply divided over the actress Jin Ki Joo, who plays Lim Han Rim.
She plays the role of Na Hwa Jin’s junior in the Special Forces and is the only female member of the Education Rights Bureau. However, the problem seems to lie in Jin Ki Joo’s acting skills to embody the character.
Many felt it was overwhelming for her to play the character, as she had to portray a “lunatic” role, exhibiting unpredictable behavioral patterns when confronted with injustice, alongside a shy, neat image. However, they felt she had failed to pull off either.
In particular, they pointed out that her pronunciation became slurred and that her screaming with proper vocalization ended up becoming a hindrance to the drama.
It is unfortunate, as her fellow actors had even acknowledged that she put in a great deal of effort to embody the character.
Actor Kim Moo Yeol stated, “I heard she went to see a teacher separately to practice vocalization for her role.”
Netizens agreed that her acting stuck out too much, disturbing the flow of the series.
