2PM member and actor Ok Taecyeon is set to say “I do” this April.
According to broadcasting insiders on the 25th, Taecyeon will hold a private wedding ceremony in Seoul on April 24. His agency, Fifty One K, confirmed the news, stating, “Out of consideration for the non-celebrity bride-to-be, all details, including the schedule and venue, will remain private. We kindly ask for your warm blessings and support as actor Ok Taecyeon begins this new chapter.”
Taecyeon first went public with his relationship in 2020. His fiancée, a non-celebrity four years younger than him, has largely stayed out of the spotlight. In November last year, he personally shared the marriage news through a heartfelt handwritten letter, writing, “I’ve promised to spend the rest of my life with someone who has long understood and believed in me. We will be each other’s strength and walk our paths together.”
He later drew attention at the KBS Drama Awards in December, where he won the Excellence Award in the Miniseries category for The First Night with the Duke. During his acceptance speech, he sweetly mentioned his fiancée by name and said, “I love you,” melting hearts nationwide.
Since debuting with 2PM in 2008, Taecyeon has steadily built a respected acting career, starring in dramas such as Cinderella’s Sister, Dream High, and Vincenzo.
