Park Eun-bin and Yang Se-jong are solving crime and Spooky in Love

The night beckons us to tvN’s Spooky in Love in the latest promos, forging a crime-fighting partnership – with some ~romance~ on the side – between the fantasy rom-com’s two leads: Park Eun-bin (The WONDERfools) and Yang Se-jong (Low Life).
Our hotel chaebol and ghost-seeing Cheon Yeo-ri (Park Eun-bin) has spent most of her life socially isolated due to her supernatural ability. But as a prosecutor, Ma Kang-wook (Yang Se-jong) sees the valuable information that Yeo-ri can provide through the dead and, in the teaser, he proposes a team-up to help solve crime.
It’s easier said than done of course and it doesn’t help that Kang-wook’s greatest fear is ghosts, making him constantly paranoid about the invisible beings who may or not be hovering around nearby. Usually they are. However, our duo are soon walking the hero’s strut together. And we then reach the familiar thump-thump but it’s not a creepy-crawly that’s making their heart race.
Co-starring Ong Sung-woo (Boyfriend on Demand), Cha Mi-kyung (The Husband), and Jo Hye-joo (Dear Hyeri), the supporting cast also includes Kim Do-wan (ONE – High School Heroes), Kim Seo-ra (Elegant Empire), Lee Jun-hyuk (Love Phobia), Baek Ji-won (My Royal Nemesis), and Lee Chang-hoon (Typhoon Family).
Adapted from the 2011 movie Spellbound, tvN’s Spooky in Love is slated to launch on July 18 in the weekend slot. PD Lee Min-woo (Resident Playbook) is at the helm with Choi Jung-mi writing.
