Park Eun-bin and Yang Se-jong join hands for Spooky in Love

The ghouls are out lurking in tvN’s upcoming Spooky in Love and – unintentionally – acting as cupid to bring Park Eun-bin (The WONDERfools) and Yang Se-jong (Low Life) together in the latest video teaser and character stills.
As we’ve been told, our hotel heiress Cheon Yeo-ri (Park Eun-bin) is cursed with an special ability to see things that others cannot see. Yeo-ri is also troubled by the power to share her ghost-seeing gift when she touches hands with another person. She thus takes precautions by keeping her distance and always wearing gloves. But for those unaware of Yeo-ri’s secrets, her behavior is perceived as particular and odd.
Here then enters prosecutor Ma Kang-wook (Yang Se-jong), who innocently asks Yeo-ri for a hand of help. And though both the lady and the man doth protest too much over the sequence, the bickering romance has sparked between our two leads. And now that Kang-wook has been awarded the grasp of Yeo-ri’s hand, I expect that their ~love~ story will be peppered by the phantom shenanigans to come. We will likely see some scheming from our supernatural rom-com’s baddie and rival hotel CEO Ong Sung-woo (Boyfriend on Demand) as well.
Broadcasting in tvN’s weekend slot, tvN’s Spooky in Love will be premiering on July 18 this month. Production for the movie-adaptation is helmed by PD Lee Min-woo (Resident Playbook) with writing by Choi Jung-mi.
