A Korean singer revealed that he was diagnosed with paralysis of the lower body due to an unexpected accident.
Singer Hyun Dae Hwa appeared on MBN’s “Exclusive World” broadcast on the 19th and talked about the accident.
He endured loneliness by looking at photos of his two daughters. He said, “My daughters live with their mother abroad and attend school, while I live alone in Korea.” He divorced his ex-wife after a separation caused by personality differences.
He also said that his two daughters were sent abroad after a major accident four years ago. Hyun Dae Hwa said, “My daughters don’t know how badly I was injured. I didn’t tell them. They only know I have some difficulty walking. I didn’t want to show them my foot dragging. I thought it was better not to talk about how hard it is.”
Hyun Dae Hwa then recalled the horrific accident. He said, “When I went on a trip with friends, I was driving to go to a convenience store. As I was turning a curve on a mountain road, something large suddenly jumped out in front of me, so I swerved the wheel in surprise. I have no memory after that.”
His vehicle went over the guardrail and plunged five meters down a cliff, resulting in six fractured vertebrae and a complete paralysis diagnosis of the lower body.
Hyun Dae Hwa confessed, “I couldn’t even turn over on my side or sit up by myself. It was hard to accept that I couldn’t do anything on my own.“
