According to the Seoul Police Station, they investigated SHINee’s Key and YouTuber Haetnim last month as suspects on charges including violations of the Medical Service Act. Park Narae, who faces the same charges, was summoned and questioned back in May.
The three are accused of receiving illegal medical treatment at a non-medical facility from a woman known as the “Injection Auntie.” The “Auntie” is accused of administering fluids and prescribing antidepressants without a medical license.
Key and Haetnim admitted to receiving treatment from the auntie and suspended activities last year. Since then, Key has resumed activities starting in April.
Both of their cases are now being investigated at the Gangnam Police Station. It was reported that they were questioned on whether they were aware that Auntie Lee did not have a license.
The police also plan to conclude the case after conducting a legal review of the evidence from searches of Auntie Lee’s residence and vehicle, as well as the results of the investigations into Key, Park, and Haetnim.
