NCT’s latest subunit, NCT JNJM, recently debuted with “Both Sides,” and have been promoting the release.
As part of the promotions, member Jaemin appeared on makeup artist Risabae’s YouTube channel, where he got a makeover from her. Jaemin, who is known for his visuals, is usually seen with more “simple” looks, that enhance his already existing good looks (and emphasize his well moisturized lips).

Risabae has a more intense style she puts on idols, as seen with TXT Soobin’s transformation.

The video begins with Jaemin’s bare face as the two discuss what sort of makeup will be given to him.

At completion, Jaemin’s new look is revealed, showing a look with a heavier eye, and eyeliner on his lower lid.

The visual differences between the two looks was discussed in a viral forum post, where netizens weighed in. Many praised Jaemin for his looks, especially bare faced, but were critical of Risabae’s styling and application.
