This is not the first time the YouTube show has faced backlash over inappropriate content.

In the latest episode of Psick University‘s YouTube show, “Psick Show,” Netflix‘s Culinary Class Wars Season 1 winner Napoli Matfia (also known by his real name, Kwon Sung Jun) appeared as a guest amid the second season of the show currently getting undivided attention.

Unfortunately, however, his episode has now been deemed controversial due to some “inappropriate” comments made by one of the show’s hosts, comedian Kim Min Su.

The video in question was uploaded on January 11, 2026 (KST), titled “Asking Napoli Matfia Who Won The First Season of Culinary Class Wars.” At one point, Kim Min Su brought up Chef Kim Si Hyun, endearingly nicknamed the “Baby Beast.” Kim Min Su asked Napoli Matfia whether he knew the said popular Season 2 chef, to which Napoli Matfia replied, “I don’t know her personally.”

Kim Min Su continued talking about Chef Kim Si Hyun, eventually asking her out on a date despite Napoli Matfia pointing out that she is nine years younger than the comedian.

Kim Min Su: You know her phone number?

    Lee Yong Ju: What?!

Napoli Matfia: Yo, she was born in 2000…

    Kim Min Su: So what?

Jeong Jae Hyung: Did you just say ‘So what?’

Kim Min Su: Yeah, so what?

Lee Yong Ju: She’s literally nine years younger than you.

Kim Min Su: So? What’s the problem?

Lee Yong Ju: Fine, you can say hello to her then.

Kim Min Su: [Turns to the cameras] Hello, Baby Beast. I’m a big beast. You know what? I’m a grown-up beast. Rawr! So, uh… I like you, and maybe someday we can go on a date. Yeah, I want to ask her out!

After the video was posted, viewers were quick to call out Kim Min Su’s comments, saying that the comedian was not only rude and inappropriate to bring up and then talk about a chef who was not present at the shoot and had no personal connection to Napoli Matfia who was there, but also creepy and disgusting for trying to “shoot his shot” at someone much younger than him—and someone who is on the show as a professional contestant.

    • “Is he drunk? I can practically smell the alcohol.”
    • “Is he seriously still like this?”
    • “Ugh.”
    • “Why are these guys still producing this show in the first place?”
    • “Good grief…”
    • “Sigh.”
    • “They really never change, do they?”
    • “Ugh… I’m going to go hit dislike.”
    • “Disgusting and kind of pathetic.”
    • “This is making me so angry. Do they not understand that she’s on that show as a professional chef?”
    • “This is exactly why I keep telling people to stop supporting them. Do you really think their behavior has changed after all that past nonsense?”
    • “Napoli Mafia was clearly trying to stop him by saying the Baby Beast chef was born in 2000, and Kim Min Su still responded like a creep?”

In response to the massive backlash triggered by the video, the Psick University channel issued an apology and announced plans to delete a segment following controversy over comedian Kim Min Su’s inappropriate remarks.

We sincerely apologize for any discomfort caused by mentioning a chef who does not appear in this content. We attempted to delete the relevant portion immediately, but due to system-related issues, the process has been delayed. We will take action as quickly as possible.

Still, viewers expressed skepticism at the apology, pointing out that this is not the first time that “Psick Show” has been “problematic.” Some have asked why, even after multiple controversies, the YouTube show continues to be produced.
