A boy group member has personally announced his marriage to his longtime girlfriend, becoming the first member of his group to tie the knot.

Stanley Yau is a member of MIRROR, a Hong Kong boy group formed through the reality talent show Good Night Show – King Maker in 2018. Since their debut, MIRROR has won numerous accolades, and all twelve members have made their solo debuts.

On February 1, Stanley and his girlfriend, artist Alina Lee, announced that they are getting married after nine years of dating.

They shared a set of playful engagement photos on social media and thanked fans for their support in a handwritten letter.

Both fans and MIRROR’s members have reportedly wished the couple well on social media. Unlike many celebrity couples, Stanley and Alina have been public about their relationship since MIRROR’s debut days, gaining support from fans along the way.
