Recently, a newly debuted rookie group has gone viral online after receiving protest trucks not even a month after its debut.
Rookie group LNGSHOT, created by Jay Park, received protest trucks from Chinese fan clubs over the group’s use to promote the label’s female trainees, who are set to debut later this year.
LNGSHOT is not a promotional method. Stop using them to promote other trainees and focus on their careers. Fans’ wallets are not ATMs for junior artists.
Throw away the excuse of trying to break the standards of boy groups. Don’t test the patience of fans!

For context, the label’s female trainees set to debut this year appeared in LNGSHOT’s b-side track music video, performing a pair choreography with the members.

During the last music show recording, the trainees unexpectedly appeared on stage as backup dancers, prompting the members to apologize to the fans after seeing the negative response.
While most K-fans tried to let go of the trainees appearing in the music video, they couldn’t hold back after seeing them appear as back dancers for broadcast.
Netizens agreed that the company didn’t seem to understand the K-Pop idol culture.
