Recently, a video clip of a Produce 101 Japan Shinsekai contestant has gone viral online.
In the video, trainee Honjo Akira garnered much criticism for his “ending fairy” pose.
While most idols opt for a cute or cool pose, Akira was seen smelling his armpit before making an awkward heart pose.

Even the other contestants were shocked after watching his unexpected pose.
Netizens were absolutely appalled that something like this was even aired on broadcast.
