He admitted to holding a weapon.

Disgraced former idol Seungri recently drew public attention after it was reported that a man in his 30s had filed a criminal complaint against him for aggravated assault.
Seungri
Seungri has responded to the allegations, acknowledging that a dispute had occurred between him and the man, during which he held a liquor bottle. However, he denied ever threatening the man with it. He claimed that the two later drank together, developed a “hyung-dongsaneg” dynamic, and exchanged contact information before parting amicably.
It is true that I held a liquor bottle while telling him that I did not want him to join us, but I did not swing it or threaten him.

The former idol also revealed that the alleged victim had contacted him later, intending to bring a business proposal to him the following week.
Seungri stated that he intends to fully cooperate with the police if he is called for an investigation. He also mentioned that he had secured surveillance footage and witness accounts of the incident. He is also reportedly considering filing a countercomplaint.
This explanation from Seungri has, however, done little to improve public sentiment toward him.

- “Simply holding it constitutes aggravated assault.”
- “The whole ‘hyung-dongsaeng‘ thing already makes this feel so fake… why is he crawling back out in the public eye?”
- “Ugh. He should’ve just not come back.”
- “Doing all sorts of nonsense.”
- “So, he’s still living life the same way.”
- “So the logic is basically, ‘Yeah, I drank, but I didn’t drive drunk,’ right?”
