Taemin, a member of the group SHINee and a solo artist, has found a new home at AI entertainment tech company Galaxy Corporation.

On the 11th, Galaxy Corporation announced, “We have signed an exclusive contract with artist Taemin,” adding, “We will provide full support to ensure Taemin’s unique artistic capabilities create synergy with our cutting-edge technology.”

Galaxy Corporation, the first AI entertainment tech company in Korea, combines the latest technologies such as AI and robotics with entertainment content to develop entertainment tech business. This recruitment reflects the company’s strategic choice to create added value by integrating artists’ intellectual property (IP) with digital technology.

With this move, Taemin will now be under the same roof as singer G-Dragon, actor Song Kang Ho, and broadcaster Kim Jong Kook.

After leaving SM Entertainment, where he spent many years, Taemin moved to Big Planet Made Entertainment. His contract was terminated following various violations.

He is set to make history as the first solo male Korean singer to perform at the United States’ largest music festival, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, held in Indio, California, on April 11 and 18.
