Less than two weeks ago, a popular singer held her storybook wedding ceremony. Now, her husband is facing infidelity accusations.

Shirley Chen (also known as Chen Xuening) is a 24-year-old C-Pop singer best known for her hit songs “Green” and “Your Taven Has Closed for Me,” which went viral on Chinese social media. Last December, Chen married Louis Li Ruibin, a businessman, just one month after they went public with their relationship.

At their wedding ceremony on January 17, Chen wore a gorgeous, voluminous dress in a lavish venue in Shanxi, China. Romantic, fairytale clips from the wedding reportedly went viral on social media, where fans wished the newlyweds well.

Now, rumor has it that Chen’s husband was involved with several women leading up to the wedding, including 22-year-old Wanyan Jiayi, a trainee from the Chinese/Thai competition show Chuang Asia. She and Ruibin reportedly travelled together sometime after Chen publicly confirmed her relationship with Ruibin.

Wanyan’s response to the rumours–urging the public to “ask the right person” about them–has only contributed to the speculation. Ruibin seemingly responded to the allegations by posting a photo of himself with Chen captioned “Everything is fine,” but Chen herself has remained silent on the matter and disabled comments on her social media accounts.
