A contestant from Single’s Inferno Season 4 is facing serious backlash after alleged accounts of his past behavior surfaced online—quickly turning him into the center of a growing controversy.

An alleged victim named Lee Yoo Rim, under the X account @chusami_lawyer, came forward and accused contestant Kook Dong Ho of being a school bully in his younger years. The user, identifying as a legal professional, detailed what she suffered as his victim in a string of tweets.

It was unbearably difficult.
Back in school, I was bullied by the so-called “iljin” (delinquent clique), and one of the guys—who was the boyfriend of the girl leading the harassment—did what people call a “confession attack” to me. Basically, it’s when they put you in a position where you can’t reject them: kneeling in front of others, giving you a cake, confessing while his girlfriend watched, all while mocking me and laughing about it.
I heard that he later appeared on Single’s Inferno, quit his professional job, and now lives as an influencer. While Single’s Inferno was airing, I was living in hell.
At work, I was also subjected to workplace bullying. I even tried to talk it out—asked what I did wrong and said I’d fix it if there was something—but they were fine talking behind my back. Yet, when I tried to have a conversation, suddenly they wouldn’t say anything. I was a victim of both school violence and workplace harassment.
One of them is now living as an influencer, and another is working at a firm like mine that represents victims. I’m so sick of it. I’ll just quietly continue doing my job where I am, being a lawyer who represents victims. That’s my role.

According to @chusami_lawyer, Kook Dong Ho was dating a fellow iljin (bully) that made her school days miserable. She alleged that she went through multiple incidents of harassment and described a pattern of behavior that painted the reality star in a far more negative light than his on-screen image.

Dong Ho. You know your girlfriend M had other kids gang up on me, hit my head with a badminton racket, and while I went to the bathroom during break, they put thumbtacks on my chair, and glued my locker shut with super glue so I couldn’t open it.
You were also one of the well-known iljin (delinquents) at Noeun Middle School, weren’t you? You knew everything and still found it funny, didn’t you?

The lawyer also noted that Kook Dong Ho’s agency has already reached out to her following the tweets, denying of him knowing who she is.

I already got a call from Kook Dong Ho’s agency. They say he has absolutely no connection to me, lol.
Of course he’d say that. Would a bully ever remember their victims? It’s always the victims who carry it for life, bleeding tears in their hearts, never able to forget the perpetrator’s name.

- School bullies aren’t even human. They’re basically trash. They should be completely separated from society so we never have to see them again.
- Wow… During the show, people liked him because he seemed calm and composed… Said he had the most “normal” personality. Since he’s an accountant, people thought he was different from all the influencer/model types… This is honestly chilling.
- Back then I never understood why people made such a big deal about school bullying, but thinking about it now, perpetrators just brush it off as “kids being kids” and move on with their lives, while for victims it becomes trauma they can never erase.
