SM Entertainment has issued a serious warning after repeated incidents involving the privacy and safety of trainees in their pre-debut group, SMTR25.
According to the company, trainees have recently faced increasingly alarming situations, including unauthorized entry into their residence, excessive physical contact, and even having individuals forcibly board taxis with them. These actions have reportedly caused significant distress to the members.
The issue goes beyond isolated incidents. SM also revealed that some individuals have been shouting trainees’ names in the building, trespassing into restricted areas, and creating disturbances that affect both the trainees and nearby residents.
What makes the situation more concerning is that these trainees have not yet debuted, meaning they are being exposed to extreme behavior before officially entering the public eye. The repeated invasions have disrupted their daily lives and created ongoing anxiety.
SM Entertainment stated that while warnings and security measures have already been put in place, the situation has not improved. The company has now made it clear that if these actions continue, it will pursue strong legal action without leniency.
