Kim Ja Yeon, a supermodel-turned-trend analyst, has stirred up major buzz after announcing her marriage to senior Samsung executive Young Sohn (also known by his Korean name, Son Young Kwon).

Kim shared the news on her social media recently, along with several wedding photos. In the caption, she introduced her husband, Son, as the former President and Chief Strategy Officer at Samsung Electronics. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Samsung Semiconductor Advisory Board and Chairman of the Board at Harman International.
According to Kim, the two met each other as senior and junior colleagues in 2024, and their romance brewed from there. They confessed to each other about their feelings early this year, and have finally tied the knot.
Born in 1981, Kim turns 45 this year and has had an illustrious career. In 2003, she was the winner of SBS’s Supermodel Contest. She also studied fashion at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and earned an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Her husband, Young Sohn, is an American magnate, known for his exceptional expertise in the semiconductor chip sector.
