On January 25, 2026 (KST), Cha Joo Young’s agency, Ghost Studio, announced that “Due to health-related reasons, actress Cha Joo Young will be unable to attend her previously scheduled official engagements and some activities for the time being.”

Cha Joo Young has been undergoing thorough examinations and treatment for long-standing, recurrent epistaxis (nosebleeds), and based on medical advice, she proceeded with an otolaryngology (ENT) surgery that could no longer be postponed. She is currently in the postoperative recovery and observation stage, and during this recovery period, it will be difficult for her to participate in official schedules, including promotional activities for her projects. We ask for your kind understanding.
