On the January 8 broadcast, the show marked the start of 2026 by heading to Dongyeouido, widely known as the center of Korea’s financial industry, to take a closer look at the country’s economic outlook for the year ahead. Before beginning the on-site tour, the cast shared lighthearted talk about their personal experiences with stock investing.
While others jokingly boasted about their gains, Lee Sang Yeob candidly admitted that investing had never worked out for him, saying that prices always seemed to drop when he bought and rise when he sold. To clarify the issue, a stock investment expert appearing on the program explained that while some financial industry employees are allowed to trade stocks, they must report their activity regularly and follow internal regulations. Positions with access to sensitive or non-public information, however, are completely prohibited from stock trading, and sharing such information privately is illegal.
