Her other estates remain fine.

Actress Kim Sa Rang is drawing attention after reports revealed one of her apartments was seized due to unpaid national taxes.
According to reports, an apartment unit owned under Kim Sa Rang’s name in Gimpo, Gyeonggi Province, was reportedly seized by the Samsung Tax Office in April. The real estate registry allegedly lists the creditor as the Korean government, with the “Head of Samsung Tax Office” named as the enforcing authority.
Following the news, Kim Sa Rang’s agency Leo International briefly responded, stating “We are currently checking the details.”
The apartment’s officially announced value earlier this year was reportedly around ₩366 million KRW (about $245,000 USD), while its recent market price is estimated closer to ₩600 million KRW (about $402,000 USD). Reports also noted that another apartment owned by Kim Sa Rang in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam, does not appear to have any seizure records attached.
According to the outlet, authorities may have determined that recovering the unpaid taxes through the Gimpo property alone would be sufficient. The tax office reportedly declined to reveal the exact reason or amount involved, citing personal information protection laws.
Under Korean law, real estate seizures tied to unpaid national taxes are processed based on official public property values rather than market transaction prices. If unpaid taxes remain unresolved, the property can eventually proceed toward public auction procedures. However, the seizure may also be lifted if the outstanding taxes are fully paid.
