WDBZ (We Dem Boyz) leader Vata is speaking out against recent dating rumors and related allegations. Although he confirmed his relationship with actress Ji Ye Eun, online communities accused him of cheating on his longterm girlfriend to pursue a relationship with Ji.

On April 15, his agency stated that the allegations are false.
“We initially refrained from responding as the rumors were baseless and not worth addressing. However, as some reports have spread these claims without verification, we want to clearly state that they are false. He was not in a six-year relationship, and the timeline of his most recent relationship and breakup was actually three years ago.”
The agency also warned that if the spread of false information continues, they will take strong legal action. Previously, on April 13, it was confirmed that Vata is currently dating Ji Ye Eun. Her agency acknowledged the relationship, stating that the two, who were previously colleagues, recently developed mutual feelings.
Ji Ye Eun debuted in 2017 through the web drama How To and has been active in Coupang Play’s SNL Korea Reboot series and SBS’s Running Man. Vata is the leader of dance crew WDBZ, gaining recognition after placing runner-up on Mnet’s Street Man Fighter in 2022.
