Snow Man has become an overwhelming presence, unmatched by others in both popularity and sales. Now, the group’s visual member Ryota Miyadate, has been exclusively spotted meeting with Nippon TV’s rising No.1 announcer Miyu Kuroda. The magazine Josei Seven reported the details.
In the early morning sometime in February 2026, Kuroda was seen leaving Miyadate’s home and heading to work at Nippon TV in Shiodome, Tokyo. The clock showed just before 7am Kuroda had visited Miyadate’s home the night before and appeared to be heading to work after staying overnight.
Miyadate, affectionately known by fans as “Date-sama,” is recognized as the group’s “princely character,” captivating not only younger fans but also older audiences. On the other hand, Kuroda is widely considered one of Nippon TV’s top young announcers. She currently serves as an MC on the morning information program DayDay. and also hosts various variety programs, earning her the reputation of being a potential successor to popular announcer Mito.
Josei Seven reports that since the start of this year, Kuroda has frequently visited Miyadate’s home, highlighting the closeness between the two. Miyadate, known within Snow Man for his distinctive character, has expanded his activities beyond variety shows into dramas and films. Industry insiders say his likable personality is a major reason for his popularity.
The pair, who have a six-year age difference, reportedly grew closer over the past year. For Kuroda, Miyadate may be like a dependable older figure. One acquaintance familiar with their relationship said that their straightforward personalities drew them together, leading to a close bond. Given Miyadate’s strong consideration for fans, they are said to primarily meet at his home.
When Miyadate’s agency was asked about his relationship with Kuroda, they responded, “She is one of his friends.” Nippon TV stated, “We do not comment on employees’ private lives.”
