Yet, while fans shared excitement, there was significant backlash against the teaser over its use of AI.
In the comments, netizens hit back at the use of AI throughout and at how, despite JYP Entertainment having the money and resources to use artists to create something, they had to use AI for the teaser. Others also brought up how Nayeon and the company should be held accountable, as other idols had been for the use of AI in their work.
