Two members of the Japanese idol group momograci (formerly Momoiro Kakumei) were recently denied boarding on a domestic Jetstar flight to Okinawa, resulting in the cancellation of the first part of their scheduled concert.

The incident occurred when Saki Seto and Kurumi Hinata arrived at the airport for their flight. Their tickets had been booked under their stage names rather than their legal names. Airline staff required proof that the individuals present were the same people named on the tickets, such as business cards or other official documents linking the stage names to their real identities. Since the members did not have acceptable proof with them, they were refused boarding.

As a direct consequence, the group could not perform with its full lineup for the opening segment of the Okinawa concert, forcing organizers to cancel that portion of the show. Fans who had traveled to attend were left disappointed, with the remaining performance reportedly adjusted or proceeding without the two members for the affected set.

The mishap has reportedly sparked online discussion and fan frustration, with many pointing to it as a basic management oversight. Booking flights under stage names without ensuring the idols carry proper linking documentation is being widely criticized as amateurish, especially for a professional idol group that recently reunited in early 2026 with a new five-member lineup.
