Earlier this month, YG Entertainment announced its plans for the year.
Along with plans for BABYMONSTER, TREASURE, and the upcoming Next Monster, Yang Sang Hyuk also revealed that a new boy group would be debuting in Fall 2026, with the expectation of introducing the group in September.
According to YG, the boy group will consist of five members who have already been selected.
As this group will be YG Entertainment’s first boy group since the debut of TREASURE in 2020, there has already been much interest shown. With the group’s debut date so close, it would only be natural that the potential members will begin being spotted near and around the building.
Some have already been seen and given nicknames as their identities are not currently known.
Five male trainees were spotted at the YG building this afternoon, it looks like they are the final lineup for the YGNBG (YG New Boy Group).

Recently, one of the possible trainees was spotted without a face mask, an positive indication that he is part of the upcoming group. In a photo of his side profile, a strong jawline and prominent nose are seen.
The trainee’s visuals were shared online, where many chimed in on his handsome appearance.

Another trainee, nicknamed the “Visual” trainee also gained attention as well.

It is not known if this trainee is a member of the upcoming boy group, but due to previous instances with other groups, the possibility is there.
