Weekly Squee #44 » Dramabeans Korean drama recaps

I watched my first short form drama over the weekend (“When She Stole My Lover.”) It started out really compelling despite being quite trashy, but the story grew more and more bananas as it progressed. I’m probably not going to watch any more of them. However, there were definitely some scenes that hit me in the feels, especially the angst that they put the female lead through. It’s unfortunate that I don’t think the writing was able to make the resolution satisfying.

I also watched the film adaptation of People We Meet on Vacation. While overall I wouldn’t say I found it great, there were some really good scenes and moments. I should add, however, that the book is probably my least favorite Emily Henry novel after Happy Place.

In more straight forward “squee” news, this new OST release for I Dol I is absolutely gorgeous: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MCgawqHhvHU
