Will Wie Ha-joon fall for Park Min-young’s Siren’s Kiss?

Airing in less than a week, tvN drops a first episode trailer for upcoming crime-thriller Siren’s Kiss. Starring Park Min-young (Confidence Queen) as the titular siren and Wie Ha-joon (Squid Game 3) as the tempted investigator, will he uncover the truth behind this string of deaths, or will he fall for the siren’s song and be lured to his own damnation?
A wrongful death, a blood-stained insurance, and a disgraced detective mark the opening of the trailer as it gives a quick glimpse into Cha Woo-seok’s (Wie Ha-joon) past. Now an insurance fraud investigator, Woo-seok finds himself caught in a peculiar case started by a supposed suicide. Art auctioneer Lee Elijah (The Bait) has jumped to her death, but before the incident, she called to report a murder. The scene then suspiciously cuts to fellow art auctioneer Han Seol-ah (Park Min-young), and it appears the two women’s animosity might have consisted of more than veiled threats.
Woo-seok must figure out if the auctioneer’s passing was suicide or homicide which puts him in contention with Seol-ah. His thinly masked accusations rankle her, so she reminds him of his place. Unfortunately, the determined investigator is not the only man in her life here to stir trouble since IT CEO Kim Jung-hyun (A Hundred Memories) takes an interest in Seol-ah as well. Approaching her at an art gallery, he asks, “Do you remember me?”
The more Woo-seok digs into Seol-ah’s past, the more bodies he discovers in her wake. He asks what she gained from all those men’s deaths, but Seol-ah tells Woo-seok that she gained nothing. Instead, she claims that she only lost.
Directed by PD Kim Chul-kyu (Mother and Mom) with scripts by Lee Young, Siren’s Kiss is slated for twelve episodes and premieres March 2 in the Monday-Tuesday slot following Spring Fever.
