Woo Do-hwan and Lee Sang-yi step in the ring for Bloodhounds 2
by lovepark
The next season of Netflix’s Bloodhounds 2 sets our boxer duo Woo Do-hwan (Made in Korea) and Lee Sang-yi (Good Boy) in the ring against Rain (Red Swan). As our two heroes fight for justice once again, what dangers await them and their loved ones this time?
An illegal boxing league making hundreds of millions of dollars operates in the shadowy underbelly of Korea. Its leader, Baek Jung (Rain), once dreamed of becoming a boxing champion, but now crushes his opponents in his global gambling ring. He sets his eyes on Kim Gun-woo (Woo Do-hwan) as his next target and offers the boxer ten billion won to fight in a match.
Gun-woo refuses the money since his last adventure outside the law left a lot of people hurt or dead because of him. Alas, season 1 evildoer Choi Siwon (DNA Lover) appears before Gun-woo, and it seems our hero gets dragged back into a fight he would rather avoid. Thankfully, he has Hong Woo-jin (Lee Sang-yi) by his side, and the two promise to handle the situation by themselves.
With the underground league already teasing Gun-woo’s participation with the nickname “scarface,” Baek Jung scouts a new bloodhound in the form of Tae Won-seok (The Judge Returns) to hunt our heroes. While Gun-woo and Woo-jin prepare for the upcoming battle between beasts, they did not expect their opponents to play dirty and target Gun-woo’s mom.
The only rule our heroes follow is to live together or die together, which means they will protect each other to the bitter end. Through tears, blood, and sweat, Gun-woo stands before Baek Jung with an unwavering gaze and challenges him to come at him.
Directed and written by filmmaker Kim Joo-hwan (Office Black Belt) who adapted the first season as well, Netflix’s Bloodhounds 2 drops all seven episodes next week on Friday, April 3.
