Since then, fans have waited for updates on her return, though official ones have been far and in between. Rami was spotted in August 2026 for the first time in over a year, leading to more speculation over her status with the group.

Now, fans have reacted to another concern involving Rami.
On September 6, a Philippines based fanbase for the group shared the success of their fan project, a cake sent to the group. The members shared that the cake was received, a successful project.

However, it appeared that some questions were posed about the cake only featuring six characters, to which the fanbase shared that originally there were plans for seven, but that management requested that Rami’s symbol be removed.
For clarification: We originally pitched the design with Rami’s animal symbol, but management requested that we remove it.

In response, fans shared their anger with YG Entertainment’s continued inactivity and mixed signals involving Rami.
