Yoo Yeon-seok and Esom welcome ghosts at God and Law Firm

Office hours have begun for the supernatural comedy God and Law Firm on SBS, spooking our softie attorney Yoo Yeon-seok (When the Phone Rings) with unresolved legal cases in the latest teaser and stills. And thankfully the more steely Esom (LTNS) is here to help because their clientele are not quite from the living.
Our hero’s interior decorator certainly had a field day, mashing up a business space that serves as half legal office and half shaman’s den. This is because Shin Yi-rang (Yoo Yeon-seok) – whose name in Korean means ‟with the gods” – doesn’t just see ghosts, they take control of his body temporarily. And thus shenanigans ensue.
Naturally, fellow lawyer Han Na-hyun (Esom) is a little alarmed by Yi-rang’s erratic behavior at first. But we see that she has her own wild quirks as well, making our leads the perfect team – along with Yi-rang’s brother-in-law and paralegal (and struggling actor) Jeon Suk-ho (Mother and Mom).
Together they are stronger, though, and they’ll need to be vigilant against our story’s big bad law firm CEO Kim Kyung-nam (Connection). And they hold strong to their mission of righting all the wrongs for their otherworldly clients, clearing the afterlife path for them to truly rest in peace.
Our good side heroes will also have support from Yi-rang’s mom Kim Mi-kyung (Surely Tomorrow), older sister Sohn Yeo-eun (Spring Fever), and niece Lee Ah-rin (The Judge Returns).
Broadcasting on weekends following No Tail to Tell, SBS’s God and Law Firm will be launching next month on March 13. The occult-mystery has PD Shin Joong-hoon (Seoul Busters, One Dollar Lawyer) directing with scripts co-written by Kim Ga-young and Kang Chul-kyu (Alice).
