Most Korean movie-goers, and even international K-Movie fans, know Choi Min Sik to be a veteran—trusted with all kinds of roles across all genres. But, according to a viral online forum post, no one knows about his equally famous younger brother!

Actor Choi Kwang Il, best known for his roles in some of the biggest K-Dramas—like The Uncanny Counter, Alchemy of Souls, The Glory, Dynamite Kiss, Phantom Lawyer and more, is the third of the five Choi siblings.

He is 9 years younger than Choi Min Sik, the third of the five Choi siblings!

Choi Kwang Il has previously mentioned in an episode of The Uncanny Return (an OCN spinoff program following the K-Drama) that his older brother and he watch each other’s work and comment on “how evil” each other are.
No Hong Chul: I’m not too sure about this question. But I learned half way through The Uncanny Counter that your older brother is Choi Min Sik! I thought it was so cool how different the two of you are! Usually, brothers have similarities. But you two are completely different. Has Choi Min Sik seen The Uncanny Counter? Has he said anything about your character?
Choi Kwang Il: He hasn’t said much. But he did tell me, “You’re so evil [in the show].” But that goes the same for me whenever I watch his works. I tell him about how evil he is.
